Alba Paloma cafe is owned and operated by Michele McKenzie. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, in Australia and around the world! I have worked in many roles in my career, from washing dishes, leading kitchen teams, front of house in cafes, bistros ,hatted restaurants, and spent many years in Management roles.

I love this industry and all it entails, the food, the producers, the wine, service and most of all meeting so many wonderful people.

Coffee and breakfast are the mainstay of cafes and I have chosen suppliers who I believe provide amazing products that make up a tasty breakfast! The rest of the menu is inspired by my children’s Spanish heritage and their Abuela’s cooking.

The name of the cafe is my daughter’s name – Alba meaning dawn and Paloma meaning dove in Spanish.

The cafe is open 7 days a week from 8.30am – 3pm for breakfast and lunch, and of course coffee and cakes!

Dinners will be back better than ever when restrictions are lifted!
